Over the years, the spiritual needs of Inverness have been met by two churches. Stella Maris opened its doors to the community in 1906. Saint Matthews United Church followed in 1909. Over the years, both buildings have undergone many renovations and restorations. Both churches continue to stand tall above the tress as a representation of our history.
